About Jurong East Swimming Complex
Located in the West of Singapore, Jurong in Malay word means shark, ‘jerung’. Jurong was formerly known as Peng Kang to the local Chinese in the old days for its gambier plantation in the early past.
Jurong East Swimming Complex is the first one-stop integrated centre built-in 2000, It was the first public swimming pool to had a lazy river, wave pool and fun slides for the public to have more fun.
The swimming complex is a public swimming pool and is open to anybody. The swimming pool is managed by Sport Singapore.
